Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Fashion Design Technology

Programme Overview

The Fashion Design Technology programme is a four-year BTech degree. It provides technical excellence and entrepreneurial skills for the contemporary industrial environment.

Students learn digital pattern-making, sustainable textile practices, and studio-based garment construction. The curriculum moves from first sketch to professional portfolio presentation.

Graduates are prepared to launch their own labels or to lead within established fashion houses.

Recognition

Fashion School of the Year 2025

Techbridge University College won the top institutional award at the Ghana Tertiary Fashion Awards in December 2025. Ms. Victoria Honu was named Fashion Educator of the Year at the same ceremony.

Innovative Fashion School of the Year

The Fashion Design Department was honoured at the Ghana Tertiary Fashion Awards in January 2025 for merging traditional craftsmanship with modern technology.

Student Fashion Designer of the Year 2024

Student Nurudeen Issah won the national title in December 2024 with a collection blending contemporary silhouettes and West African textile heritage.
